Aditi Sri Interview with Muzique Magazine

How did you come by your stage name?

Aditi is my first name and my last name’s first three letters are Sri. All my fans started calling me by my name Aditi Sri. All my shows in the past have the same name. All my fans and band members and relatives call me Aditi Sri. I feel happy when they call me by that name.

When did you discover your love for your craft and what made you realize you wanted to pursue a career in it?

When I was 4 years old my mom started teaching Indian classical music. My father put me on stage when I was 5. From that moment I got recognized by our community that I will be a star. A number of nonprofit organizations gave me an opportunity to perform and I have performed so many fundraising events.

To what or whom do you accredit your sense of style?

Selena Gomez / Ariana Grande / Taylor Swif.

On your current project, how did you come up with the concept?

I am proud to say I am signed with the Eastabrook Road Records label. I am currently working on Feel N Life Album.

What are some of your greatest challenges, and what is your greatest attribute when it comes to your work ethic?

There are a lot of challenges I faced due to competition. I am the top Indian American singer in the country and so naturally so many hurdles have to go through to come to this stage.

I am very disciplined when it comes to my work. I am very dedicated and I make sure I over-deliver. Whether in creation or performance I give my full energy.

Are you the best at what you do in your opinion?

It is an ongoing process. Every day we learn something new. So I will say I will keep doing my best.

What are your plans for the near future?

My plan for the future is to be one of the Top Main Stream artists.
