Great Tips On How To Host A Successful Party with Premier Glow

Any party, with the right incentives and atmosphere, can take on a life of its own. However, keep in mind that every get-together is different and some even need some encouragement to take off. If you are planning to host a party, you need to have several tricks up your sleeves to ensure things get rolling should your party start slow. Here are some great tips from Premier Glow

Even though it sounds simple, most revelers often need something that brings them together – something that gets them dancing, flirting, and talking. And that could be anything from an unusual canape to a costume.

Serve salty snacks when the party begins. This way, everyone becomes thirsty and can’t help but grab a drink to quench their thirst.

Have a couple of specialty drinks on hand. Drinks make for good conversation starters. Introduce one as soon as the party starts to loosen up guests then bring out the rest later on in the night as a surprise.

Also, make sure you change at least one thing every twenty minutes. Dim the lights, vary the music tempo, or introduce a new canape – make sure you do something that makes your guests feel like they’re on a journey that changes course through the night.

Guests need personal contact and interaction with their host. If you are planning on hosting a large number of guests, chances are you won’t be able to talk to everyone. In such an instance, consider recruiting two of your close friends and have them act as party ambassadors. Have them greet your guests as they arrive, mix the punch, pass out nibbles as the night progresses, take photos, and change the music playlist. A party ambassador can stand in for you and ensure that energy keeps flowing.

For seated dinners, extemporaneously have guests switch seats. Prepare an extra seating chart and after the first round of meals, have everyone sit somewhere different.

Make sure the bar is situated away from the entrance/exit. Nothing kills a party faster than an obstruction at the door.

Create a playlist and have it ready to play on your phone.

Have tons of refreshments on stand-by and find a way to offer them in a manner that’s both unique and fun – for instance, you could serve some of the drinks, like vodka or champagne, in buckets of snow. Another option involves setting a rye, vodka, and bourbon tasting stand, or even a create-your-own-margarita station with habanero, cucumber, watermelon, ginger, and grapefruit.

As the night wears on, pass out flip-flops and glow sticks; that way, your guests have no excuse to stop dancing.
