Keith Fernandez Announces Much-Awaited Release of Debut Album ‘Illuminati’

Keith Fernandez, a multi-talented entrepreneur from Florida, has a resume that would make people twice his age jealous. He is a Harvard graduate, a rapper, a business owner, and an eminent corporate banker.

Excelling from a Young Age

Keith Fernandez was born on July 10, 1988, and grew up in Orlando, Florida. His father is a radiologist with Spanish and Puerto Rican roots and his mother is Irish. It was clear from an early age that this young man is destined for greatness. He was the captain of his school’s soccer team and won the National Hispanic Scholar award. He also graduated as the valedictorian of his Florida high school.

After school, Fernandez was accepted by six Ivy League schools, but in the end, decided to attend Harvard University in Massachusetts. During his time there he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Student-Faculty Advisory Board. He was also the co-founder of the NESL Club soccer team. Fernandez studied Music and Economics and received his Bachelor of Arts Economics degree with Cum Laude Honors in 2010. He had a Major GPA of 3.8 and achieved a cumulative SAT score of 99% percentile.

After graduating from Harvard he studied Business Administration and Finance at The Wharton School in Pennsylvania. Prominent figures like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Warren Buffet are all alumni of this Ivy League business school. Fernandez was the first Hispanic-American ever to place as valedictorian for the Academic Excellence Fellowship with a 4.0 GPA and six A+s. He was also a member of the PE/VC Club, the Wharton Soccer Club, and the Dealmaker’s Club. Fernandez received his Masters’s degree in 2019.

Entering the Working World

After his studies, he worked on Wall Street for four years doing investment banking and private equity. He was a senior analyst at the leveraged finance investment banking group Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and an associate at the private equity firm KKR.

In 2014 he started his own company, National Diagnostic Solutions, a healthcare start-up focused on diagnostic imaging, with his father. The following year he won the Brillante Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence from the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s. His company was also selected as a Top 5 Start-up by the Bright House Regional Business Awards. He worked as the CEO of his company until 2019.

In 2018 he founded another company, Monarch Financial Consulting, where he currently works as the CEO and CFO.

Pablo Releases his Debut Album

Despite his busy schedule, Fernandez managed to pursue another one of his passions: music. Using the stage name Pablo, he recently announced the release of his much-awaited debut album “Illuminati” on March 26, 2021. His sound is a unique mix of rap-rock with some keytar – or as Pablo likes to call it, his “Keith-tar”- thrown in for an electro-rock feel.

A keytar looks like a hybrid between an electric guitar and an electric keyboard. It is a type of synthesizer that is worn around the neck and shoulders like a guitar, but instead of guitar strings, it has keys like a piano. Some of the celebrities that can play this instrument include Jean Michel Jarre, Lady Gaga, Prince, and will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas.

A Rapper with an Intellectual Side

On “Illuminati” Pablo explores otherworldly subjects such as Singularity, AI, and Luke Skywalker. He says he wants to “educate the public about interesting ideas such as Singularity, Artificial Intelligence, and other advancements in technology”.

Pablo Creates his Own Beats

What sets Pablo apart from most rappers is that he plays his own instruments and creates his own beats while he raps. Most rappers do not play any instruments – two notable examples being Kanye West and Jay Z. As mentioned, Pablo also has a degree in Music from Harvard University, which means he knows a little something about making great music.

Pablo’s debut album is sure to be a success, so it is likely only a matter of time before he becomes a superstar.
